Dr. Andrea Scotti is a fellowship-trained structural interventional cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis
and minimally invasive treatment of complex structural heart diseases, with particular expertise in
transcatheter therapies for aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valve disease. At Montefiore Medical Center in New
York, he leads advanced imaging-guided, catheter-based interventions that deliver precise, patient-tailored care
to high-risk cardiac patients.
Dr. Scotti holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of
Medicine. He is an active clinical investigator in multiple pivotal and early feasibility trials, advancing the
field of structural heart interventions. His research contributions include over 100 peer-reviewed publications
in leading journals such as JACC, Circulation, and the European Heart Journal. He is also the author of a
comprehensive book on transcatheter valve replacement.
Recognized as an emerging leader in interventional cardiology, Dr. Scotti serves on the editorial boards of
prominent journals in the field and is regularly invited as faculty at major international conferences. In 2025,
he was selected for the prestigious CRT “Early Career Leadership Program” and honored with the “30 in Their 30s”
Award by the American Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
